Hi, I'm Ken
I grew up in Davenport, Iowa where I spent my days working on my family's farms and enjoying the outdoors. It was there that I graduated from high school. I enlisted in the Navy in 1981, which turned into a 20 year career that I loved. I met my beautiful wife of almost 30 years while stationed with the Navy in San Diego, California. After I completed my military career, I remained in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin where we resided for 19 years before relocating to Marinette.
During my time in the Kenosha area, I completed a BS in Business Management/Human Resources and MS in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside, through which I learned the value of our public university system. While earning my MS in Sustainable Management, I gained the knowledge necessary to assist my fellow residents in northeastern Wisconsin in advocating for safe, clean water that people can drink, but also use to carry on favorite leisure activities such as camping, hunting, fishing and boating. I believe that by putting the interest of people first, I can be a voice in Madison to ensure our citizens have clean water, great public schools, and that our Veterans are taken care of.
Additionally, I believe it is time for elected officials to listen to citizens who voice their concerns loud and clear, and believe they need to be addressed instead of being ignored. It's time for the voices of the 89th Assembly District to be heard once again. By working together, we can all make a Wisconsin to believe in.
I ask for your vote on November 6th.
